But that’s not all – Mapbox Studio allows you a whole lot more customizability for your Mapbox maps. You can create your own styles based on your artistic preferences, or ones that match your project’s branding.

- Find a favorite photo on your computer, or use one from Unsplash.
- Go to Mapbox’s Cartogram App and drag/drop the photo to see the new base map layer style.
- Adjust the controls over the photo to your preferences.
- If you are logged into your Mapbox account, click Saved style! to open the style in Mapbox Studio.
- Publish your new one-of-a-kind base map layer to use in your map!
