About the IIIF Gallery Builder

What you will build

The IIIF Image Gallery Builder helps you create custom collections of images from IIIF (International Image Interoperability Framework) manifests.

With this tool, you can:

  • Add images from IIIF-compliant repositories
  • View high-resolution images with zoom capabilities
  • Rearrange and curate your collection
  • Return to the source page to view full metadata
  • Open maps in Allmaps Editor for cloud-based georeferencing
  • Save galleries to your computer
  • Share galleries with others via files or links
  • Embed galleries within webpages or platforms like Canvas
